Subject: New Puppy
As you requested, I have been searching for a dog that will be a great addition to our family. After looking at countless puppy ads I narrowed it down to two: a toy poodle and a short haired chihuahua. I remember what you said when telling me what to look for in a dog and ran it down to three important criterias we need:
1. Cost
2. Not a lot/no shedding
3. Potty trained
Recommendation
I recommend that we buy the short haired chihuahua. It's a good family dog and great with kids. Also, it has ment our requirements.
Discussion
Cost -Our budget is $500 and the short haired chihuahua costs $350, but her shots will be an extra $150, still keeping is at our budget.
The poodle also fits our budget, but we would need to pay $150 for her shots, putting us over $150 over the budget.
In conclusion, if we get the chihuahua we won't have to go over our budget.
Shedding -
Since she is short haired she will still shed, but it won't be as much of a problem. Not to mention, she will only shed in the summer where she will have to be outside more often.
Unlike the chihuahua, the poodle does my she'd, but poodles are known for their fur getting very dirty, very easily. So we would have to bath her often.
In conusion, although the chihuahua sheds, it won't be much of a hassle to deal with, unlike the poodle who will need a lot of pampering.
Potty trained -
Since she is coming from someone else home they already potty trained her.
The poodle is coming from a new litter and will need to be potty trained.
In conclusion, if we don't want to go throw all the messes in the house, we should go with the short haired chihuahua.
