Dear Mr. Moses,

 

     To give you an update on what I’ve completed, what’s underway, and what needs to be completed before I am off to college, I made you this memo to get you caught up.

 

ACADEMICS -

Completed:

I have and will receive all the credits I need to graduate. I have applied to only one college, University of La Verne, and still waiting to hear back from them.

 

Underway:

Not a lot is happening at this time.

 

To Be Completed:

I have to receive my acceptance/denial letter from La Verne, which will determine if I go to a university or community college.

 

Problems:

I heard from FAFSA and I will not be receiving a Cal Grant, and that could make a huge impact on paying to go to La Verne. If I can’t afford/don’t get into La Verne I have to make the decision on if I should go to Grossmont or Riverside City College. 

 

EMPLOYMENT -

Completed:

I applied and interviewed for a job at Cajon School District to work for the Extended Day Program at an elementary school. I thankfully got the job!

 

Underway:

I am currently waiting for a call from them to give me my starting day and hours. I will hopefully start soon.

 

Problems:

If I decide to move after high school I am going to have to quit my job after only working for them for six months. There is a possibility of me getting a receptionist job if I move to Riverside, however.

ATHLETICS -

Underway:

Track season is just beginning now, so I'm hoping to be able to defend my league championship this season.
